Layni Thompson

Biography
Layni Thompson joined Mullican & Hart, after spending a year as a Licensed Legal Intern during law school, gaining courtroom experience while defending clients in both personal injury actions and property rights disputes. Her practice at Mullican & Hart—first as a law clerk and now as a licensed attorney—has focused on railroad defense and insurance defense. Ms. Thompson has advanced her clients’ litigation goals through diligent drafting of and responding to written discovery, extensive motion practice, and providing other support for trial teams in complex grade crossing accident and FELA trials.
Layni Thompson graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in 2022 from Oklahoma State University, where she was a proud member of the Cowboy Marching Band. She obtained her J.D. in 2025 from the University of Oklahoma College of Law.
Ms. Thompson is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association, the Tulsa County Bar Association, and the National Association of Railroad Trial Counsel (NARTC). She is licensed to practice law in the State of Oklahoma.
