ANOTHER WIN FOR THE MULLICAN|HART TEAM!

On October 22, 2021, Mullican|Hart received a defense verdict after a two week trial in Minot, N.D. Plaintiff David Rentz was represented by the nationally recognized plaintiff’s law firm of Davis, Bethune and Jones out of Kansas City, MO. Mr. Rentz was involved in a train v. semi-tractor trailer collision on July 13, 2012 and suffered catastrophic injuries, including multiple broken vertebrae, bilateral pelvis fractures, commuted left femoral fractures and compartmental syndrome leading to a permanent right foot drop. Rentz also complained of severe traumatic brain injury. At trial, Mullican|Hart called no witnesses.  Mr. Rentz and his counsel asked the jury to return a verdict of $26 million.  The jury rendered a verdict of no fault on the part of the Mullican & Hart’s client.

The case was a retrial of an $11 million verdict defended by another firm that was reversed on appeal.
